I fully understand china's position .. it has 1.4billion people to feed and nowhere near that amount of resources, however, let's call this for what it is .. China is providing police training to ensure autocratic island govts friendly to china remain in place regardless of the will of that particular country's population. Beijing wants stability and deference at any cost and that cost will be the suppression of pacific nation people's democratic rights
