The covid cases in PNG is rising everyday, and we are the closest neighbors so the risk to us is also rising everyday.

The border area in Shortland Islands is the biggest risk now, and we need to have some strong monitoring of our border. We need to make sure that people are punished if they cross the border - to or from Bougainville.

I listen to the radio and people in the border area are worried about their livelihood because the trade with Bougainville. To me that is a very greedy way of thinking. The moment we get the disease we will be in serious trouble. So let us all work together to stop it.
