Hi,
I am worried we are not doing enough to stop coronavirus to enter Solomon Islands. This is a virus so we do not have the capacity to deal with this threat! I have read that it is now airborne and also symptoms do not show even if one is infected with the virus.
I came through the airport two weeks ago and all our authorities are doing is taking peoples temperature on arrival. That is really not enough. We need to prepare in the event that someone in the country becomes infected. Set up an isolation area where people can be quarantined, also seek assistance to boost our ability to respond.
It is really a matter of time before someone comes in undetected.
Coronavirus threat!
