I want to spread the message that December 12th will be a day to celebrate the 104th birthday of world-renowned singer/actor/entertainer Frank Sinatra.
His music and acting are still with us and as far as I am concerned, they'll be here forever. Such is the power his talents left us with.
A toast and Happy Birthday to Ole Blue Eyes from me and an illustrious group of artists including singer Peggy King and the All-Star Jazz Trio, author Will Friedland, Tony Bennett, Diane Krall, talent promoter Billy Jon Coogan, music archivist Anthony Di Florio III, WYYR program director Chris Valenti and singer/actress Jane Powell.
Indeed, his films, recordings and books written about this legendary performer will surely be with us forever and Sinatra will remain 'A #1- Top Of The List,' likewise! Happy Holidays to one and all!
