It is a surprise when Solomon Islands kept silent on the West Papua issue. Solomon Islanders must not remain complacent anymore about regional and local issues. If the Government decides to keep quiet about any issue, we the common people must rise and speak out. The people of West Papua are our friends and relatives. They must not struggle alone. In addition to being vocal on this,we must pray for them for as long as it may take.
God has the power to build and establish Nations. Our prayer would be that the people of West Papua will find Justice and Peace, and that they may be given the right to become an independent Nation. We pray as well for the Indonesian Government.
