I think the current political standoff in the government of the day needs to assessed against the backdrop of what it has been doing so far. For one, so far the government has done very little for the people of Solomon Islands.

The strain relationship between Sogavare's Government and RAMSI, the Moti issue, the appointment of the current Commissioner of Police, the unwillingness to attend the meetings in Tonga this year, are all simple issues that should be dealt with without any mishap. However, the reluctance of government to handle these issues in a simple manner has affected the betterment of the people of Solomon Islands.

In brief, as it stands now; let democracy prevail!
