Cut of Government Expenditure
I want to contribute to the above report by Alfred Sasako. At first I was surprised and the question came to my mind was that how can the government cut expenditure on rental under the Public Service Rental Scheme (PSRS). When those public servants who have tenancy agreements with their landlord for one year that would be due at the end of the year. The government already has an obligation to pay this amount according to the tenancy agreement. It cannot cut what has already been agreed. Then came the explanation from the PS Ministry of Finance that clarify the whole issue. Then I begin to wonder is Sasako really doing his investigation or just get information from the street. Without bother to find out the truth first. His reporting makes public servants question his credibility.
