So much have been raised concerning this industry lately. A lot of questions have been aired regarding the ROC funding meant for the revival of the industry and now farmers are hopeless and thinking this is just another propaganda which would never be materialized.
However, with the latest announcement by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAL) in particular the Livestock Department all cattle farmers should now be making some constructive plans in advance and at least do some preparatory jobs so that you will not be taken by surprise upon the arrival of the cattle at our shores.
At this juncture, I wish to commend all of whom who have contributed in one way or the other in facilitating everything in relation to the industry a job well done. Although, it will take some more time for the process before the actual commencement of the project I wish to emphasize once again that better preparation is of paramount importance should we want to move to another level where we left before. Together we can revive this very important industry to boost our local economy.
May God bless Solomon Islands.
