Our former Prime Minister, Sir Alan Kemakeza said it right when he said "no one is above the law".
The controversial Rini, defacing the decision by the High Court of Solomon Islands, the Highest Legal powerful entity of the nation, by disregarding the legality of the issue, and using his political power has brought a different tune.
It makes me wonder, which is the most powerful? legal power or political power? Can politics be above the law? Should the High court just accept this decision or challenge the govt in court for this decision?
I see a bad precedence that soon political power can easily over-power legal power if nothing is done about this issue.
I hope some lawyers may clarify this, as I may be wrong in my perception.
