SI University
I agree with John Talitali, the expressed wishes and aspirations for a National University of SI has been aired by successive governments since time immortal. When are we going to see something concrete on the ground? How long is this issue going to remain as a priority, but without action? It is time that our PM stop the "lip-service", and begin to "walk the talk". The young people of Solomon Islands have been given false hopes, and an illusive dream of attending University studies in their home country for almost ten years now. When are they going to see action? Nafu for toktok nating na!! The hundreds of millions of dollars proposed for an increase in MPs', and their wives', terminal grants should be diverted to upgrading SICHE to a National University, period.
