Dear Editor,
Can the Ministry of Education monitor the content and volume of cargo in USP (Suva) student's container when they (more the 2) arrive at the Port (SIPA) in Honiara. For the past 6 years I have seen USP student's containers arriving in Honiara from Suva full of huge electrical appliances (refregirators, washing machine, etc) and home furnitures. Some even container corrogated iron. Some even buy cargoes (foot wear) to sell in Honiara and load them in these containers.
What have been observed in this regards illusrates rich (many Fiji $$$) USP students. Actual less education/course materials arrive in these containers
Please can the government representatives in suva assess the student situation thoroughly and make recommendations to the govt (MEHRD).
Please MEHRD checkem oketa container blo student lo usp lo P/Cruz lo diceba ba....Make sure for no openim mouth tumas....It will be a big surprise.
Good luck all my USP students in your studies.
