Finally, the much outspoken Malaita Maasina Forum has shown its true colors to the public. So many compensation claims including claims of mistreatment of its innocent population have been its norms in trying to rally public support in the past.
Just recently, plans were in place to form a political party to contest the next general election. Whilst it is their democratic right to do so, I wonder what will be the situation like, once they have majority in parliament and become head of any coalition partnership if it ever happens.
Do I necessarily need power to bring development to my people?
