We have heard it on the radio, read about it in the newspaper, seen it on TV and now we have them on our very streets in Honiara. The truth is this social problem is now right on our door step and sad to say this but it is a problem that usually comes along with the modernization development. As we develop we will continue to see the bad side of development whether it be this kind or that kind.
I'm not saying this because it is an untreatable problem but it seems that this problem has defeated a lot of many developed countries and they turn to strategies that ease it. I believe this problem is still at its early stage and we need to really look for options which will help to limit or even put a stop to it rather than barking at those beggars.
