I am just wondering if the topic of students allowances only affects some of the students and not all of them. You feel for students complaining about the allowance not being sufficient, but I felt really sad yesterday when I saw some boys with a carton of Fiji Gold at MH in Flagstaff.I was just wondering if those students were the ones who just got their allowances yesterday or those who are being sponsored by different donors.

By the way, as a student sponsored by a neighboring donor country, am also feeling the impact of devaluation, even though i receive forthnightly stipend, and I always wonder how the SIG student can manage the finances when I find it quite hard to manage my forthnigthly stipend , even though I don't drink and smoke, and don't buy luxuries, but just food, stationeries and transport and rent.
