Dear Sir,
I just hope that Eddie Tom is not one of our students at USP or one of the tertiary institutions in Fiji.
If he is, then all I can say is may God help Solomon Islands with young and women endowed with vision, based on concerns for the people.
Whether he realises it or not, the media is an agent of change. As such, it has a critical role in nation building via debates either as a contributor or instigator.
Telecommunication is an important development tool. It is like oxygen to business and commerce.
Rising costs in telecommunication only stifles rather than energises.
Having said that, it does appear Eddie knows little about the value of participatory democracy and governance
Good luck to him in whatever his chosen vocation
Alfred
