I read with great interest my good Hon Premiers bold statement that Isabel province is ready for statehood. In my humble opinion as a grassroot person from Isabel, I think we are not even close to ready. The developments referred to in the speech could be far from truth as I don't see tangible developments that could create employment opportunities for Isabelians other than logging and the wish to dig our own graves development the propose 'nickel mining'.
Unless we see tangible developments being developed in Isabel can I agree to my Hon Premiers wishful thought that we are ready. We are not even close to ready. I may be vague here but I don't have time to write an essay about Isabel's readiness for statehood. Nevetheless, it is also my wish that miracle happens overnight for us to better serve our people. Long live people of Isabel!
Isabel Ready for State Govt
