Dear Editor,

My initial comments on the tourism course at SICHE were not intended to promote discussions on the standard of English writing but to express my perspective as a first year tourism student on the training course and highlight the current status from my findings.

I specifically stated in my initial comments that some of us (students) come straight from high schools while others are from the tourism industry.

Yes, I am a first year tourism student, working in the tourism industry the last 15 years with no formal qualifications in that sector, the major reason to take up this very important training.

The issue of discussion is on the training provided at SICHE not on "Who is who?"

I withdraw from this unconstructive discussion initiated by Felicia Koli.
