While I agree with JABZ about being undemocratic to reserve sits for women in parliment, I am not so sure about referening to Guadalcanal and Isabel to easily adopt the proposition. I thought that Guadalcanal and Isabel would be easy to have their women voted in because they are matrilenial and do not require the request for reserving of sits. Isabel have two women voted in as provincil members in the assembly not appointed. On another note Malaita Province had one woman in its provincial assembly a couple of years or so ago whom I heard did very well during her term. So it can also be done in other provinces. We have potential women out there in all our provinces who can be voted in to parliment.
