Dear Editor,
The revelations revealed by former Gold Ridge employees through their welfare representative, SINUW, is welcoming. I support Mr. Kagovai's stand on the issue at hand and for questioning ASG, a 100% owned company's credibility in upholding the laws of this country. Can ASG do what it is now practicing here back in Australia?
To avoid further black spot on Australia, I think the Australian authorities should immediately investigate these serious allegations and breached of the Solomon Islands laws. What the Australian expat staffs are doing to SI staff, who are mostly landowners themselves is disheartening and very serious. SINUW please continue with the good work for speaking on behalf of those who work under harsh and unpleasant conditions but cannot speak!
