Dear editor,
I am interested in the news item on NZ assistance towards Guale PDC towards floods relief.
What is to highlight administrative costs? Am I wrong to say computer, stationery, ship repair or what? Why not highlighting the essential things like foods which people still need today in that shopping list?
Thanks to our media to provide information that there alot of people still need foods and other neccesities in the worst affected areas. I suggest if PDC and responsible authorities to expand their priority list to include or increase budget for foods, rather than administrative shopping list.
I think we have learnt alot of lessons from the past tsunami. And we must not repeat them now. Because what comes in the name of the affected people must reach them at least 85 percent. Not 50% or less.
Otherwise the affected people are not recovering but down with more suffering.
