Dear editor,

This so called peace festival was dominating this column for more than a week now and what good thing does it bring?Do Solomon Islands desperately need this peace that Rev moon and his followers are preaching so much about?

For one i don't think so because true peace does not come from others or will be given to us by Rev. Moon.

True peace only comes within our hearts through forgiveness with our fellow men and this is what exactly solomon islanders need and not the fake peace that Rev Moon and his followers are trying to force us into.

I don't think this organised global peace festival can bring true peace to our lives because there are other contradictory beliefs and ideologies masked under these organised event which totally contradicts the christian belief.
