I would like to take this time to salute Gerard Tema for his achievement in Rugby League. Despite there are plenty of good players in the category he is playing in Australia; this didn't stop him from being in the 35 Broncos under 20 selections, which will further trim to 22.

Brisbane Broncos is one of the best NRL team in Australia, where most of Australia best rugby league players and squad members are Broncos. But the most important thing is knowing that a Solomon Islander can make it like other Pacific rugby nations. Their are many potential Solomon Islanders who can play in overseas in whatever game of rugby. This only needs a well development of rugby in the country. Having a stadium by the rugby is a start, and this needs more support to make it meet its objectives includes rugby development. If Gerard makes it, then why not the others. So once again, congratulation Gerard, and wish you a successful career in the sport of rugby league.
