Dear editor,
I would like to respond to Galo Makoti's comment concerning the above matter. I think that those who were awarded the scholarship have proven to themselves and the country as whole to be some of the top students. I believe there is no wantok business involve in the selection process. So what is your point Mr Makoti. Are you saying that the selection process is unfair? Well some of those students selected and now they are in their second year of studies are also my classmates. To be honest, they deserved to be selected because they are hard working students. Nowadays I don't think those in the selection committee would select just any Tom, Dick and Harry but I believe the selection was based on the academic performance of individuals and that is they have the required GPA for the scholarship. Therefore stop making unnecessary comments regarding these scholarship.
