NZDF Acknowledged for Efficient Delivery of Ballot Papers
Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) and Commissioner Jasper Highwood Anisi of the Solomon Islands Electoral Commission acknowledged the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) for the safe and efficient delivery of ballot papers to the provinces.
Public Holiday for Elections Declared and Liquor Ban Ordered
In a move to facilitate the smooth conduct of National, Provincial, and Honiara City Council elections, the Solomon Islands Government has declared Wednesday, April 17th, 2024, as a public holiday.
