Three of the World's top International surfers will be testing the Solomon Island waves from March 4th -11th , on an invitation from the Solomon Islands Visitors Bureau. American surfer, Benji Weatherley will be accompanied by Australian surfers, Josh Kerr and Dion Agius.

Also visiting the Solomon Islands are the major Australia surf magazine, "Waves", world renowned surf photographer "Bosko" and major media outlets: Sydney's "The Sun Herald", Adelaide's "Sunday Mail" and Brisbane's "Courier Mail".

A DVD will be created during this trip for the Solomon Islands Visitors Bureau and the Wave magazine.

"We have invited this elite group to the Solomons to discover just how uncrowded and perfect our surf breaks are, in order to publicize our home to the world's fastest growing niche market-surf tourism," stated the General Manager for Solomon Islands Visitors Bureau, Mr. Michael Tokuru.

Besides being sponsored by big surfing names, these group of surfers, will generate excellent exposure and awareness of the Solomon Islands surfing, not to mention the editorial value of this trip which is estimated to be valued at AUD $1 million, a certain unheard of return on investment for a media trip.
