The Solomon Islands National Council of Women is currently having a workshop at the Community Sector Program Office.
The 'Planning Framework' workshop, in its third day, is for the National Council of Women to meet and develop a draft Corporate Plan for the SINCW for 2007 to 2010.Participants will discuss ways to increase commitment in making changes and moving forward.
The workshop will also discuss how to better understand works of the SINCW mandate, and develop a list of key priority areas for the SINCW to focus on.
Participants will brainstorm into ways to improve SINCW coordination and linkages with all partners, including women's organisations, government, NGOs, churches and donors.
The workshop will also be discussing ways to help women of Solomon Islands to be recognised as leaders.
The workshop is being organised by the National Executive Committee of the SINCW.
