The new Western Provincial government will in the first 100 days hold a summit for its leaders to look at various issues concerning the development of the province.

Newly elected Premier, George Solingi Lilo, says among the issues would be the State system of government which many provinces, including the Western Province wanted to adopt.

He says his new government would also like its provincial leaders assist the administration in its planning.

"Our group also anticipate to set up the economic forum committee. We are also into the development committee. All this would require some resourceful people from the province to come down and assist us."

Premier Lilo also say his government would like to ensure that the province has representation in various institutions and bodies to ensure its voice is heard.
