Two Injured in Motor Accident

The Police Traffic Centre is investigating the circumstances surrounding a motor accident which occurred at the road junction near the Taj Mahal restaurant at approximately 7:15pm on Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred when a vehicle travelling south on a Lunga feeder road approached the Taj Mahal road junction and allegedly failed to stop and give way to the main road traffic.

The 43-year-old female driver was treated for minor injuries and later discharged.
