Tinoni Ratu collected another golden boot award this year in the 2006 DJ League season which ended last month. The presentation was held at the Lawson Tama stadium on Saturday night.

The formidable striker has achieved a double in a year for the golden boot awards. Ratu scored the highest in the DJ league 2006 and repeated the fest in the recent 2007 Solomon Islands National Club Championship. His remarkable achievement at the two highest level of competition in Solomon Islands is worthy of praise. He will join the caliber of strikers in the SPG squad like Henry Junior Fa'arodo, Abraham Iniga, James Naka, Benjamin Mela, Commins Menapi and Jack Samani.

Makuru collected the SBD$10,000.00 cash prize and trophy as the 2006 DJ League winners, whilst Hana FC declared winners in division 1 and Junior Flamingo for division 2. Las United and Telekom may be relegated to division 1 and replaced by Hana FC and Rangers FC. Junior Flamingo and Kolei United will move up to division two and replaced by Police FC and Vura FC in division 2.
