As celebrations continue at the Riverside community following the announcement of new Small Malaita Member of Parliament, Rick Hou, the hype goes right across the ocean to Fiji.
In congratulating Mr. Hou, students of Small Malaita studying at the University of the South Pacific's Laucala Campus said they look forward to work together in helping the new MP to develop their constituency.In an email, the students said it is time to move the Small Malaita constituency up another level in development and time to experience change.
The students also conveyed their congratulations to winning MPs for east and west Are'are.
"We would like to urge the three MPs of the southern region to work togather to bring change to the Southern region of Malaita."
