The upcoming Pacific Arts Festival, to be held in New Zealand, will see three local artists representing the diverse cultures of the Solomon Islands. They are Riaz Haikiu, Jon Jay and Levi To'o.

Speaking to Solomon Times the three said that, not only that it is a great opportunity to expose their arts with other artists in the Pacific countries it is also a chance to meet other artists within the region and share their passion.

This would be the second time the Solomon Islands will attend the prestigious festival, the first being some seven years ago.

The three young lads said that while other groups from the Solomon Islands will also go they are there to represent the Artist Association in Solomon Islands. They said that with the exposure they help their other artist friends.

The festival will be held for two weeks and the boys are really looking forward to it, accompanying them will be their curator.
