Teachers will meet to consider options given by the government in a recent meeting over the weekend.

An indefinite strike took place last Friday by teachers due to government's failure to honor the Memorandum of Understanding and Teachers Scheme of Service agreed and signed by both parties in January this year.

The National Teachers Association, SINTA, Industrial Relations Officer John Lee Hatimoana said a decision on whether or not the strike continues will be reached in a meeting scheduled for this afternoon.

He revealed that only 564 teachers among 5000 are being re-leveled with others still awaiting re-leveling.
