The Soltai Fishing and Processing Company Limited is currently investigating an e-mail which was circulated last week warning people of poison in the company's taiyo products.

The company's General Manager Thomas Dorku says they have so far gathered details and the particulars of the e-mail and will be talking to those involved.

Speaking to SIBC News from Noro this morning the General Manager says the company is also considering legal advice if necessary.

Mr Dorku also stressed that there was no truth to the reports of their products being contaminated with poison as was widely circulated by e-mail and local media reports.

He also assured customers of effective quality control safety standards applied to both local and international products.
