Solomon Islands Clerk to Parliament is resigning to contest in the upcoming national by-elections for East Malaita Constituency.
Taeasi Sanga, wife of former East Malaita MP, the late Joses Sanga, will be replaced by Fred Ganate.It's been reported that this Friday will mark her last day in Parliament Office.
The by-election is scheduled to take place in March, to fill the vacant seat following the death of the late Hon. Sanga May last year.
New Clerk to Parliament, Mr. Ganate, is the former Permanent Secretary for Provincial Government and Constitutional Reform.
