Solomon Islanders Encouraged to Make Submissions to Facilitation Act Inquiry

Solomon Islanders are encouraged to make submissions to the inquiry into the Facilitation Act that allows the regional security force, RAMSI, to operate in the country.

The Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee stated that it is important that the Solomon Islands people take part in the inquiry.

A major effort has gone into ensuring that people are aware of the survey.

The Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee will use the RAMSI Outreach Programme and other Government department programmes to get the message through.

The final document regarding the inquiry will be made ready by November.
