Sogavare Retains Seat

Former Opposition Leader and the Leader of the OUR Party, Manasseh Sogavare, has retained his seat.

The National Broadcaster has confirmed that Mr Sogavare won with a sizeable margin in his East Choiseul constituency.

Former Minister for Environment Gordon Darcy Lilo has also retained his seat. Mr Darcy Lilo polled 1942 votes ahead of Kenneth Bulehite who polled 905.

Nine former MPs have also retained their seat.
