SIFF to conduct beach soccer referees course

The Solomon Islands Football Federation will conduct a FIFA/OFC Beach Soccer Referees course starting February 21 in Honiara.

SIFF Development officer, Noel Wagapu, confirmed yesterday that invitations have already been sent out to all the provincial football associations including Honiara Football to nominate their participants to attend the course.

This will be FIFA's first Beach Soccer Referees course to be conducted in Solomon Islands since beach soccer started a few years back.

Mr. Wagapu says he expects all nominations to reach his office by February 17 before he finalise the list.

"I should be able to confirm the number of participants for the course after Monday 17," he adds.

Meanwhile, FIFA Instructors Massimo Raveino (Tahiti) and Neil N POLOSO (SOL) will be the instructors for this course.
