The final squad to represent 7s rugby in the South Pacific Games has been announced.
The final selection was made following vigorous training in the past months, as well as undergoing the required NOCSI medical and fitness tests.The travelling members are Steward Baiabe, Roman Tongaka, Vivian Kelesi, Felix Qalo, Leslie Puia, Cameron Suamoana, Steve Moana, Jefferey Maungatuu, Baptiste Kelesi, Eugene Taimagino, Jonathan Kaitu'u and Robert Ludai.
The non-travelling reserves are Metcalfe Sa'atai, John Tohamoana, Joseph Wale and Lewis Kelesi. The squad will be captained by Roman and Steward and their vice is Leslie.
The squad will march into camp again at the Rove Police Academy for their final preparations and will remain in camp until they leave for the SP Games.
They will also continue with friendly matches with local clubs like Luapel, in Honiara this week.
