The Solomon Islands Women's Rugby 7's league will now enter its fifth week of competition tomorrow Monday 31 November at the Panatina oval.

So far 14 matches had been played over the last four weeks and most teams have now played about four matches each.

Seven more matches are left before the competition proceeds to its second round which will involve the ranking for the play off finals.

After the matches played last Thursday 27 October, the Royals Blues is now leading the competition followed by its two very competitive rivals in the Henderson Hammer Heads and Oscars Lot. Both teams are looking into toppling the current leader in the second round that will start in a week and a half's time.

However, the competition is still wide open and even the fourth and fifth teams can still make it to the top three positions if they manage to win most of their remaining matches.

Teams are reminded to take note of their matches kick off times and be at the ground on time and get prepared before the match officials signal for the start of their games. This is to avoid starting late and taking up the time that the next schedule matches should be played.

So far team performance in the competition had improved dramatically for all participating teams and the girls/women had proven that they can be just as good at the sevens game as the men. Therefore, rugby supporters and fans are invited to come along and cheer their teams on.
