Rights of the Child Awareness for Solomons Children

Save the Children's Child Advocacy Project is currently involved in raising awareness of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).

The overall goal is to enable children in Solomon Islands to reach their full potential through the realization of these rights.

A three-day UNCRC training workshop designed by Save the Children will take place this week for students at Kukum SDA Primary School.

Similar training will follow suit for Tamlam, Chung Wah and Saint Nicholas schools.

This is part of Save the Children's Club program.

Today's launch featured guests from the Ministry of Youth, Women and Children and the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development.
