Family of the late Harry Lolongo who had been gun down by RAMSI personnel on Thursday morning will be looking into possible demands that will be submitted to RAMSI after the funeral.

Speaking to SIBC brother of the deceased, Patrick Lendi said that while the Chupu, Guadalcanal's traditional gift, has been given to them as a sign of respect of the loss and regret of the incident by RAMSI, "its value does not match up to the loss they incurred through his brother's death."

Mr Lendi thanked RAMSI for their gift of Chupu to them because it is in accordance with their culture to do such thing in the event of a reconciliation or by way of opening up negotiations between two conflicting parties.

The body of the late Lolongo is being taken South Guadalcanal for burial over the weekend.
