Transparency Solomon Islands (TSI) has commended public support for the work in fighting corruption in Solomon Islands, saying this is a good sign for the country.

TSI says it is grateful to all who supported World Anti-Corruption Day by joining the TSI 'Walk of Solidarity Against Corruption'.

Hundreds of people turned out to march last Tuesday morning to mark World Anti-Corruption day and to make their voices heard in the fight against corruption in Solomon Islands.

TSI says the walk successfully raised the issues of corruption, transparency, accountability and integrity to the public and highlighted the importance of working together for a corrupt-free country, and for building national integrity.
