Prime Minister Derek Sikua has embarked on a major reshuffle amongst certain Permanent Secretaries.

The line up of the recently reshuffled Permanent Secretaries are:

- Jerry Manele, Secretary to the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
- Ruth Liloqula, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Survey.
- Henry Pika, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Police, National Security and Correctional Services.
- Ronald Unusi, Permanent Secretary Special Duties for the Ministry of Police, National Security and Correctional Services.
- George Hiele, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade.
- Barnabas Anga, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Employment.
- Edward Kingmele, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock.
- Jeffrey Wickham, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Communication and Aviation.
- Luma Darcy, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Mines and Energy.
- Tione Bugotu, Permanent Secretary, Special Duties in the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development.

Gordon Konairamo has been appointed as Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Forestry and Research.

Prime Minister Sikua says the above postings and transfers will take place with immediate effect.

He says the other Permanent Secretaries that are not mentioned above remain in their current Postings.

Prime Minister Dr Derek Sikua says the government wants to fulfill some of its promises before its term ends in about a year's time.
