Prime Minister Lilo made the call following claims by Dr Sikua of having evidence of a stock pile of more than 200 tons of beche-de-mer worth millions of dollars.The Opposition's statement came about following allegations that the government was soon lifting the ban currently imposed on beche-de-mer. Dr Sikua claimed that there is a wide conspiracy network that seeks to export the illegal stockpile in defiance of the current ban.But Prime Minister Lilo says the ban is still in place awaiting a scientific report on the current stock.Mr Lilo says that the Opposition Leader must produce the evidence to the appropriate government authority so that the matter could be dealt with immediately.
