An under 14 team from Papua New Guinea will arrive this Friday to play against Solomon Islands selected teams.

A series of matches will be played with three teams from the Solomon Islands Soccer's School of Excellence. The three teams are Koloale, Marist and KOSSA FCs.

According to a source, the Honiara Football Association (HFA) will co-host the event with SIFF.

The PNG team will also be playing school teams and they are Florence Young Christian School and Mbua Valley High School's under 14 teams.

The PNG team will play the five teams in a round robin format this Saturday.

On Sunday, they will play against an under 15 select side who in 2006 and 2007 attended the PNG and Fiji OFC youth festivals. The Sunday game is called Junior Wantok cup.

The source in the HFA told Solomon Times that Saturday's matches will be held at the SIFF Academy field and Sunday's match between the Honiara select team and the PNG team will be held at Lawson Tama field.
