They grabbed the trophy after dominating all track and field events resulting in them scooping 23 medals; 10 gold, 6 silver and 7 bronze together with a $1500 cash prize and the championship shield.The presentation was done this week at the SIFF Academy at King George. Second prize went to Woodford International School who snatched 7 gold, 7 silver, a trophy and a cash prize of $1000.The third place went to Lunga Primary School with 5 golds, 3 silver, and 8 bronze plus a trophy and a cash prize of $800.Other prizes were given out according to categories. In the 7-9 age category, Lunga Primary School won it, in the 10-11 years category Tuvaruhu School won the category and Panatina Primary School won the 12-15 year old category.Christian Nieng, Manager for Human Resources and Administration for Our Telecom thanked the participants and organizers, adding that as a major sponsor they would like to see more children become involved in future Primary and Secondary school carnivals, to develop their interest in athletics.
