The 11th Festival of Pacific Arts organising committee, Solomon Islands, will begin auctioning leaf huts in the Pacific village at Panatina Campus tomorrow.
This was revealed by the Chair Lady of the Organizing Committee, Ms. Doreen Kuper.She said that the main committee has agreed to put the village out on public auction instead of taking it down themselves.
According to an agreement signed between the College of Higher Education and the committee, the village should be cleared by the end of this month.
Interested people are encouraged to see the Committee at their main office.
Mrs Kuper said that the main committee has been having various meetings to discuss outstanding issues faced by the organising committees during the festival.
She said a second meeting was held at 2pm yesterday to allow sub-committee chairs to report to the main committee.
