An influential group of New Zealand business people, led by New Zealand MP John Hayes, is to visit Honiara this week to develop business opportunities between New Zealand and the Solomon Islands.

Organized by the New Zealand Pacific Business Council, ten companies will take part in the visit.

The New Zealand businesses coming to Honiara will include those that deal in aluminum, vehicle tyres, architecture, automobile accessories, renewable energy, uniforms, greenhouse and horticultural products and food exports.

New Zealand Trade and Enterprise will be represented by its Noumea-based Pacific Region Trade Commissioner, Richard Godin.

The mission will hold a mini-expo at the Honiara hotel on Wednesday.
