Netball League Continues in Honiara

The Honiara Netball Association continues its league for this year with Bokolo taking on Tematangi.

Bokolo matched Tematangi in yesterday's game with a total score of 35 points each.

The first quarter of the game had Bokolo leading by 10 points and Tematangi trailing with 5.

But the determined Tematangi side pushed hard in the second quarter of the game to lead by one point.

In the third quarter of the game, Tematangi maintained their stand with one point ahead of their rivals.

A twisted ankle of Bokolo's goal shooter, Cardine Iro gave Tematangi hope of pushing ahead with more points.

But a strong Bokolo side played hard and wide, giving no room for Tematangi to take advantage of the slight edge.

The final whistle of what can be said to be a very entertaining game brought the points to a draw, much to the disappointment of Tematangi who were hoping to win the game.

Meanwhile in court two, Police Two thrashed the Henuagoto side by a close result of 36 to 33.
