Kukum Traffic officers are investigating circumstances surrounding five motor accidents that occurred over the weekend.
One of these accidents occurred around 5:30pm on Friday night when Police were called to provide assistance after a vehicle ditched into the drain on Lengakiki Road. The driver of the vehicle was not injured in the accident and he is assisting Police with their inquiries.In a separate incident, Police arrested the driver of a silver Toyota at approximately 7 am on Saturday morning. Police witnessed the vehicle driving in a dangerous manner. The car was stopped by Police and the driver was escorted to the Kukum Traffic Centre where he was subsequently arrested.
